Volunteers needed for Kuncanowet Trail Day
The Kuncanowet Town Forest and Conservation Area management committee will hold its annual trail clean-up Saturday morning, September 10th from 9:00 am until approximately noon. We will meet at the trailhead at the end of Holiday Shore Drive in Dunbarton.
If you come to help, please bring clippers or loppers.
If heavy rain is forecast for that date, please check this website prior to 8 a.m. Saturday for a cancellation notice.
Canoeing on Kimball Pond
Members of the Conservation Commission spent an evening exploring Kimball Pond. We spotted several Great Blue Herons, ducks, a snake, and a beaver colony at the pond's border with the Great Meadows. Amazingly, no bugs!
